These discs have worked fine for me. I have used about 75 and I have had one bad write (software issue). They get only 4 stars because they aren't printable to the hub without a break. I am getting ready to order some more. Any current DVD drives should be compatible.

I was a little leary buying these because several reviews on this site indicated they ended up with coasters, but I've backed up 50 DVD's now with not one single coaster. It must have to do with burner types or other issues on their computers. I have a Samsung SH-S182M lightscribe burner with 2M cache I bought at newegg for less than 30 bucks and so far no coasters with these disks. I'm super pleased. I wish someone would make single sided DL disks like these that were lightscribe. I can't find any lightscribe dvd disks higher than 4.7 gigs and the average DVD today would have to be compressed to fit, seriously cutting down quality. These disks play back as good as the originals.
